Guidelines for Collaborative Research

Declaration of Helsinki. This statement of ethical principles for medical research involving human subject including research on identifiable human material and data. 

Montreal Statement on Research Integrity in Cross-Boundary Research Collaborations. This guide provides the responsibility of individual and institutional partners in cross-boundary research collaborations.

The Office for Human Research Protections. This office provides leadership in the protection of the rights, welfare, and wellbeing of subjects involved in research conducted or supported by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. It helps ensure this by providing clarification and guidance, developing educational programs and materials, maintaining regulatory oversight, and providing advice on ethical and regulatory issues in biomedical and social-behavioral research.

Singapore Statement on Research Integrity. The Singapore Statement on Research Integrity was developed as part of the 2nd World Conference on Research Integrity, 21-24 July 2010, in Singapore, as a global guide to the responsible conduct of research. It is not a regulatory document and does not represent the official policies of the countries and organizations that funded and/or participated in the Conference. For official policies, guidance, and regulations relating to research integrity, appropriate national bodies and organizations should be consulted.
