Topic: Self-plagiarism and getting Permissions for Copyrights.
Description: Self-plagiarism is defined as the act of reusing previously published or submitted material for an assignment or research article. Despite the fact that self-plagiarism is not illegal in most situations, it is disliked and may lead to ethical dilemmas since it is seen as unethical and a sort of literary theft. Gaining approval from a copyright owner to utilize the owner's original creative content is the process of obtaining permissions.
Scope: We will demonstrate what self-plagiarism is and how to prevent it in order to retain academic integrity via the use of examples. Furthermore, obtaining permissions for copyright is not always an easy task. We will discuss how to get permissions and, if rights are not provided, what the ethical option is to cope with this challenge.
Purpose: Knowledge of this topic will benefit everyone, particularly new researchers, who will be more informed about self-plagiarism and copyright permissions for their prospective research publications.
