Biology is the study of life and its vital processes (Rogers, Joshi, & Green, 2019). Its basic concepts includes the study of some natural processes such as metabolism, reproduction, growth, movement, responsiveness, and complex organizations (BarCharts, 2012). With these characteristics and complexities, the knowledge on the study of living things can result with some overlaps with other disciplines or body of knowledge such as Physics (Biophysics), Chemistry (Biochemistry), Engineering (Bioengineering), and Medicine (Biomedicine) among others.
