Participate in the Regional Bloomberg Trading Challenge 2024 for NU Students!

We are excited to invite you to participate exclusively in the Regional Bloomberg Trading Challenge 2024, organized by the Nazarbayev University Library in collaboration with Bloomberg, the Graduate School of Business, and the School of Sciences and Humanities, for NU.

This competition will help you prepare for the upcoming Bloomberg 2024 Global Trading Challenge scheduled for October. 

Designed to provide you with hands-on experience in real-world investing using Bloomberg Terminals, it is also an excellent opportunity to enhance your financial skills and compete with your peers. You will have the chance to define market assumptions, develop return-generating trading strategies, and execute trades over a closed network.

πŸ–₯️ Access to Bloomberg Terminals: Available 24/7 during the challenge period at:

  • the Library Media Room (Block 5, 2nd floor, 5e.216)

πŸ“’ Info Sessions: August (TBA). Before the challenge starts, you will attend mandatory info sessions by Bloomberg representatives to explain the challenge rules and expectations.

Important Notice: Temporarily Changes in the Library's Operating Hours

Please be informed about changes in the library's schedule from July 2 to July 4, 2024, due to the transition to online classes.

  • The Main Library will be open from 8:30 AM to 5:15 PM (2nd floor).
  • The NUSoM Library will be closed.

The 24/7 rooms in both libraries will remain open continuously. Online services will operate without changes.

 


Database News: Launch of JoVE Business Marketing!
