Gender Education: Gender Statistics Sources

Until 2020, the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan is an authorized body that forms and implements state policy in the field of statistics, develops and implements programs to improve statistics in the Republic of Kazakhstan (According to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On State Statistics”)

The World's Women reports are prepared by the Statistics Division of the UN Department for Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) at five-year intervals, starting in 1990.

Provides an institutional framework for work on gender statistics in the UNECE region. Activities include facilitating the development of statistical standards and supporting national statistical offices to improve their capacity to produce and disseminate gender-relevant statistics.

The Generations and Gender Programme (GGP) is a system of national Generations and Gender Surveys (GGS) and contextual database, whose aim is to improve the knowledge base for policymaking in UNECE countries. GGP provides FREE data access to suport academic and policy research.
