A number of AI tools are now available for various purposes including research. Whether you are looking for AI-powered search engines, literature mapping tools, or literature review tools, there is an AI tool available for use. Whatever the purpose may it be, using AI responsibly and ethically should always be a priority.
When selecting AI tools, it is important to keep in mind whether they meet your needs and the purpose for which you want to use them. It is also important to check with your course coordinator, publisher and/or other partners whether they allow the use of AI tools when preparing material for research or study. Keep in mind the limitations of such tools and also be aware of the copyright, privacy and data retention issues they may cause. Do not proceed in using AI tools to prepare your assignments without doing the necessary research into these considerations first. Please also note the University Library does not currently provide support for the tools listed on this page.
