Published scientific articles about results and findings of research activities are scientific communication tools worldwide. Accordingly, results of published articles are:
- Discussed and checked;
- Confirmed or denied;
- Used in the planning of other studies by other researchers.
By publishing articles researchers determine and keep up their h-index. h-index is a measurement used to evaluate the productivity and impact of researchers based on the number of received citations of published articles.
h-index can be tracked through Scopus, Web of Science and Google Scholar.
