There is no cookie-cutter approach for creating a video but follow best practices for best results:

plan the content writing scripts and outlines for every target audience;
define the purpose (educational, entertainment, artistic, interactive, animated or marketing);
consider a proper background and lighting, composition;
film short clips or segments;
reuse, remix or modify free sources.

Blender
