Collections

Collection strengths

The Korean collection is a relatively young, established in 2018 with the kind support of the Korean Embassy in Kazakhstan, Korea Foundation, and Korean Studies Center at NU School of Sciences and Humanities. Nevertheless, we offer classical literature and fundamental works, language study textbooks, books for children and periodicals in English and Korean, which can be located in the online catalog. The Collection grows through a selection of resources by subject librarians, requests from academics and researchers involved in Korean studies at NU and donations.

Location

To explore Korea please visit the Culture Room in the Main Library. Most items are available for loan to NU staff and students.
