Type C - The standard European plug. Commonly used in Europe, South-America and Asia, but also in quite a few other countries. Plugs of type E and F will also fit in a type C outlet.

Tenge (₸) is the official currency of Kazakhstan. Because most places you visit will be able to take your credit or debit cards, you don’t need to take much cash.
You can exchange your money or buy tenge at the airport (24/7) or in the bank offices inside shopping malls of Astana like Mega Silk Way (which is located next to Nazarbayev University campus (venue of the conference) from 10.00 am until 10.00 pm.
