Rooms
NU Library provides 37 individual study rooms for students which are located on the 4th floor of the new building (5e.425 - 5e.435; 5e.440/01 - 5e.440/10; 5e.441 - 5e.456). The rooms are equipped with desk (1), chair (2), glass whiteboard (1), low table (1), utility cabinet (2).
Booking & Use
The individual study rooms can be booked on https://nu-kz.libcal.com/reserve/individuals.
The check-in and check-out should be completed when required.
Privileges
PhD students can study in PhD area on the second floor.
Policy
- Rooms are restricted to students for 3 (three) hours per day.
- Rooms are available
- Monday-Friday at 9:00 am - 9:00 pm.
- Saturday-Sunday at 11:00 am - 7:00 pm.
- Check in and check out in timely manner. If you don't or late for check-in the booking will be authomatically cancelled.
- Materials and personal items left unattended may be removed by library staff.
- No full meals or messy foods are allowed in the study rooms.
- No sleeping is allowed in the study rooms.
- All mobile devices should be on silent mode.
- Rooms should be left in a clean and orderly condition, ready for the next users.
- Do not damage or move in or out of the room the furniture.
- For your safety, it is strictly prohibited to remove electrical outlets.
- Use appropriate markers and erasers on the whiteboards or check them out at the Circulation Desk.
- The library reserves the right to revoke permission to use the room in the case of non-compliance with these policies.
